Roco Kingdom Bosses: Territorial Lords, Locations and Drops
Roco Kingdom boss reference: territorial lords, world bosses, locations, drop tables and fight mechanics, without turn-by-turn strategy.
Quick answer: there are two boss layers. Territorial lords are fixed-spawn elite Jinies that respawn on a timer and drop lord bloodline, perfect eggs, evolution materials and high-tier balls. World bosses are scripted story fights — Holy Light Dimo, Fire God and Martial Cool Cat in the Chinese build — that cannot be captured on the first encounter. This page is reference data: what they are, where they sit and what they drop. It deliberately does not give a turn-by-turn strategy.

Territorial Lords
A territorial lord is a named, oversized Jini that holds a fixed spot in a spawn zone. It is not a random rare spawn: the same lord appears in the same place, and the challenge is the fight and the cooldown, not the search.
Confirmed lords include:
- Molimiao — the earliest lord most players meet, tied to the Breeze Valley / Windrest arc
- Flame Berserker — the subject of a recurring Territorial Trial event in the live build
The community map tracks more, but Tencent has not published a complete lord list for the global build, so this page does not invent one.
Lord mechanics
Lords share a set of behaviours that separate them from normal wild Jinies:
| Mechanic | What it means |
|---|---|
| Fixed spawn | The lord is always at its landmark, not roaming |
| Respawn timer | A cooldown after a kill, shown in the map tooltip |
| Element shield | Some lords open with a shield that resists off-element damage |
| Enrage phase | Below a health threshold, damage and speed increase |
| Adds | Some lords summon regular Jinies during the fight |
| Capture lock | The lord cannot be caught on the first encounter |
The enrage and shield rules are the reason a team of one element struggles. The type chart matters more here than anywhere else in the game.
Lord drops
| Drop | Use |
|---|---|
| Lord bloodline | Special evolution path for certain species |
| Perfect egg | High-tier egg with better hatch odds |
| Evolution material | Species-specific evolution requirement |
| Prism Ball | Top-tier capture ball |
| Advanced Ball | Mid-tier capture ball |
Drop rates are not published. The perfect egg and lord bloodline are the two worth repeating a lord for; the balls are a consolation.
World Bosses
World bosses are story encounters, not repeatable loot piñatas. In the Chinese build the three best known are:
- Holy Light Dimo — the Light-element mascot in its boss form
- Fire God — the Fire story boss tied to the volcano arc
- Martial Cool Cat — the Martial boss of the academy arc
Each is a multi-phase fight with a capture step that unlocks after the story resolves. The global beta does not include those chapters, so none of the three is reachable in the test.
World bosses do not respawn on a timer and do not drop the lord table. Do not farm a story arena expecting bloodline.
Where Bosses Sit on the Map
| Boss type | Location pattern | Example |
|---|---|---|
| Early lord | First province spawn zone | Molimiao in Windrest |
| Mid lord | Regional landmark | Flame Berserker trial arena |
| Late lord | Endgame ring | The Citadel / Overseer's Heights |
| Story boss | Chapter arena | Giant's Canyon, Holyfeathers Temple |
The map guide lists the zones and the regions guide groups the landmarks, so you can match a lord to its province without a separate atlas.
Bosses and the Daily Loop
Lords are part of the daily routine rather than a one-time challenge:
- The respawn timer makes them a repeatable source of bloodline and eggs.
- The Territorial Trial event rotates a featured lord with extra rewards.
- The merchant restock and the lord timer are the two clocks worth checking each session.
If you only do one, do the lord. Bloodline is the bottleneck for special evolutions, and it cannot be bought.
What This Page Does Not Cover
Turn order, team composition and skill rotations are strategy, and strategy changes with every balance patch. The reference facts here — spawn type, mechanics, drops — are stable enough to plan around. For the fight itself, the in-game trial preview shows the lord's element and shield before you commit.

Do lords respawn? Yes, on a cooldown shown on the map.
Can I catch a lord? Not on the first encounter. Capture unlocks after the associated trial.
