Roco Kingdom Platforms: PC, Mobile, Xbox and Cross-Play
Which platforms Roco Kingdom is confirmed for, what the beta actually runs on, how account linking works, and why PlayStation and Switch are still missing.
Quick answer: Roco Kingdom is confirmed for PC (Steam and the official launcher), Android, iOS and Xbox Series X|S. The closed global test runs on PC, Android and iOS only. PlayStation 5, Switch and Mac have no listing and no announcement. Progress is shared between PC and mobile when both are signed into the same account during the test.

Confirmed Platforms
| Platform | Status | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Windows PC | Confirmed, in test | Steam page live; separate launcher used for some invites |
| Android | Confirmed, in test | Google Play distribution |
| iOS | Confirmed, in test | TestFlight distribution |
| Xbox Series X|S | Store listing | Not in the current test |
| PlayStation 5 | Not announced | No store page |
| Nintendo Switch / Switch 2 | Not announced | No store page |
| macOS | Not announced | No native client |
The distinction that matters is store listing versus playable build. Xbox has a product page, which confirms intent, but no public build has been shown. PC, Android and iOS are the only platforms with a running global client today.
The Beta Is Not the Launch Lineup
The Quack Quack Test is a compatibility and localization test, so Tencent limited it to the platforms with the largest reach. Consoles usually join later because certification and controller UX take longer. Do not read the missing PlayStation build as a permanent exclusion — it means nothing has been announced either way.

Cross-Play and Cross-Progression
The test supports PC-to-mobile progress sync on a single account. Log out on one device, log in on the other, and the save follows. That is cross-progression, not cross-play: the game does not have a shared PC-versus-mobile battlefield, and there is no indication it will.
Two limits are worth knowing:
- Sync is tied to the account, not the store. A Steam-linked account and a Google Play-linked account are different accounts unless you explicitly link them.
- Console support, when it arrives, may or may not join the same pool. Tencent has not said.
Co-op play works within the same platform ecosystem during the test. Cross-platform parties have not been demonstrated publicly.
Account and Storefronts
The global build uses a Tencent/Level Infinite account rather than a platform-native login. In practice:
- On PC, the launcher asks for the publisher account, then launches the game.
- On Android, Google Play handles the download, but the in-game account is still the publisher account.
- On iOS, TestFlight handles the build, and the Apple ID must match the invited account.
That layered setup is why so many access errors come down to a mismatch between the store account and the publisher account. The errors guide covers the common cases.
Controller, Keyboard and Touch
PC supports keyboard and mouse; controller support exists but the beta's button prompts are incomplete in some menus. Mobile uses touch controls with an optional controller. There is no cross-save of control layouts between devices.
If you plan to play mostly on PC, the system requirements page covers the Chinese client's published specs and what they imply for the global build. If you plan to play on a phone, the beta's compatibility check is stricter than the store listing suggests.
Which Platform Should You Pick?
- PC if you want the most stable build, the largest screen and the easiest capture of the creature index.
- Android if you want the widest device support and easy account switching.
- iOS only if you are comfortable with TestFlight expiry and re-invites.
- Xbox is a wait-and-see; there is nothing to install yet.
Pick the account you will keep for launch before you start. Splitting progress across a Steam account and a Google account is the most common way testers lose their collection.
