Roco Kingdom Download: PC, Android and iOS Install Guide

How to download the Roco Kingdom global test on PC, Android and iOS, what to do when the store page says unavailable, and how to verify the install.

Last Updated: 2026-10-27

Quick answer: the global test client is distributed through Steam or the official launcher on PC, Google Play on Android and TestFlight on iOS. There is no public download: the store page only works for accounts that received an invite, and the mobile builds are invite-gated the same way. If you were not invited, the download button will not help you.

Before You Start

Check these three things first, because each one produces a different error:

  1. The email on your account matches the email that received the invite.
  2. The platform matches the platform you selected in the survey.
  3. The store region matches your account region.

A mismatch on any of them looks like a broken download rather than an access problem. The errors guide has the specific messages.

PC: Steam

  1. Open the Roco Kingdom Steam page.
  2. Sign in with the Steam account tied to your invite.
  3. If the page shows Play or Install, the entitlement is active.
  4. Install to an SSD if you have one; the open world streams heavily.
  5. Launch once, let the launcher verify files, then sign in with the publisher account.

If the page shows Coming Soon instead of a download button, the entitlement is not on that Steam account. Do not buy a key from a third party — test access is not sold.

PC: Official Launcher

Some invites were issued as a launcher download rather than a Steam key. In that case:

  1. Download the installer from the link in the invite email.
  2. Install outside Program Files to avoid permission issues.
  3. Let the launcher patch to the current build before launching.
  4. Sign in with the same account that received the invite.

The launcher and Steam builds are separate installs. You do not need both, and saves sync through the account rather than the client.

Android

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account that received the invite.
  2. Search for Roco Kingdom, or use the link in the invite email.
  3. If the listing says This app is not available for your device, the device failed the compatibility check.
  4. Install, open, and sign in with the publisher account.

Side-loading an APK does not grant access. The server checks the account, not the client, so a side-loaded build will reach the login screen and stop there.

iOS

  1. Install TestFlight from the App Store.
  2. Open the TestFlight invite link from the email on the same Apple ID.
  3. Accept the beta, then install Roco Kingdom.
  4. Sign in with the publisher account.

TestFlight builds expire. When the build expires you need a new invite, which is why iOS is the least convenient test platform. Do not delete the app to "fix" a login problem; you may not be able to reinstall without a new invite.

Install Size and Patch Behaviour

Tencent has not published a download size for the global build, and it changes with each patch. The PC install is the largest; mobile builds are split by asset pack. The launcher downloads the base game first and streams the rest, so the first launch is slower than later ones.

If a patch stalls at a percentage, pause and resume once before deleting anything. The launcher resumes from the last verified chunk.

After Installing

  • Link your PC and mobile accounts if you plan to switch devices.
  • Claim any pre-registration or launch mail before it expires.
  • Set the language in the launcher, not in-game; the beta only ships English and Japanese.
  • Check the system requirements if the client stutters.
No public APK or mirror

Any site offering a "global Roco Kingdom APK" or a "preloaded PC client" is distributing either the Chinese build or malware. The only official sources are Steam, the invite email link and the two mobile stores.

FAQ

Is Roco Kingdom free to download? Yes. The game is free to play, and the test has no purchases.

Can I download the beta without an invite? No. The store page is gated by account entitlement.

Where is the Android download? Google Play. The listing is hidden or unavailable for accounts and devices without access.

Why does TestFlight say the beta is full? The invite batch is capped. You need a new invite when a slot opens.

How big is the download? Not published. The PC build is the largest of the three.
